Carol/Mom over at http://charliandme.blogspot.com/ hosts Tea and Friendship Tuesday. So I thought I'd participate today.
Last week I went to my favorite store lately...the antique shop. I have seen these little miniature tea sets for awhile now. Well when I was there last week, I seen that they had this purple one with litte white dots. So I decided I was going to get me a set once and for all. It was so cute and darling that I just could not resist.
For right now I have it displayed on a shelf in my home office.
As you can see, it's a tea set for two. The next picture you can see inside the wicker basket that holds the tea set. You can see the spaces that were formed to hold all of the pieces very snugly.
If you look closely, you can see the forks up on top of the basket. I don't know if you noticed but I have the little spoons out for display with the little cups and saucers.
I just thought this was so cute and well I just had to get me a set. I did find other sets on the Internet and they said that Delton Tea Baskets are only for decorative use only. I thought that one day if I had a little granddaughter she could use it. But I come to find out that it is not safe for food or beverages. But it sure is nice and cheery to look at.
Happy Tea and Friendship Tuesday! I hope everyone is having a nice week!
I'm signing off.....from Peek-A-Boo Street! ♥
P.S. Be sure to stop by for the next Tea and Friendship Tuesday. I'm dying to show you my new vintage tea cup!
What a darling tea set and in my favorite color. Thank you for visiting my blog and your sweet comment. Have a great Tea and Friendship Tuesday Anne. Although we have never met in person I do consider you a friend.
