Thank You Jessica!

My daughter had stopped over the other day and bought me a gift. She had bought me this ivory tea pot along with this beautiful tray.

You can see the shape of the teapot better in this second photo.

I love teapots and trays. Then I got to thinking and told my daughter I know exactly where I'm going to use these goodies...

On my new garden tea cart! I found this at a second hand store and practically was drooling over it. I got if for $40. My hubby thinks it was over priced but I don't. I've done enough thrift shopping to know that this is a once in a life time find for me. I thought it was worth the price and trust me, I stretch a buck around here as much as possible. The top is glass and the bottom had obviously gotten broken because it is plexy glass. But it doesn't bother me.
Anyway, you will be seeing more of this on days that I'm out having tea time. I can't wait to set it all up. Isn't it wonderful being a girl!
Thank you Jessica. I know, I'll have my daughter over soon for tea.
I'm signing off.........from Peek-A-Boo Street!

  5. Anne, I think the price you paid for this sweet tea cart was a fair one~ make sure you tell the hubs that your blogging pals agree with you! We bought a couple of new carts for our store when we were at the furniture market in April and even at wholesale cost- they can't be touched for anywhere near $40! Thanks for stopping by for a visit. I think my newly painted urns look great in person- very much like old concrete. :-) Sue
