I've got the clothes hanging out on the clothesline and a good start on my housework. Now I'm going to go out and enjoy my afternoon tea out on my patio. I want to soak up this beautiful weather we've been having before the rain comes. I finished reading 'The Road.' It was a pretty good book. I liked it. I liked it because it was different then any other book I read before. Some people have different opinions about it though. Now I'm reading 'The Revolutionary Road.' It's a book that was written in the 1960's by Richard Yates who has died in 1992. The movie already came out in theatres just recently starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. I have not seen the movie yet but would like to. It seems like the books I have been choosing lately are the ones that are out with a major motion picture. And the book is just, OK. But still readable.
So with that, I'm going to grab my tea, my sunglasses and my book and head on out to the patio. I hope that you all are having a good week.
P.S. Don't you just love this big tea cup & saucer? My daughter and her family got it for me for my birthday. I just love it. It holds a lot of tea!
Now I need a cup of tea...and maybe a shopping trip to buy a cute cup and saucer!

Think I will also go and soak up some rays with a cup of tea as it is really starting to get chilly cold here!

As for rain~~~~~~well we just got back from Myrtle Beach and it seems that the weather here at home has been nothing but rain... At least for the last couple of days. Some of it quite nasty too. At least I am hoping for a nicer weather outlook for Mother's Day weekend.
