7 Lbs. & 1 oz!

Aaron Mitchel, my second grandchild and grandson was born at about 10:11 this morning. He weighed in at 7 lbs. and 1 oz. and 20 inches long. Mom and baby (and Dad) are doing well. And for the second time around, I got to witness my grandchild being born! How awesome is that?!
God truly had His hand involved. I wasn't even planning on attending this birth because I was watching my grandson for my daughter. But then my husband called and said that he was able to leave work, which he never can. And I thought we were going to miss the birth of the baby by the time we got to the hospital because when we left the house, they were fetching for the doctor! I even called my other two sons out of school today so that they could be at the hospital. I called my mom-in-law and she said that she to was heading out the door. When we got to the hospital, we knocked on the door to see if it was a good time to come into the room. My mom-in-law (bless her heart) opened the door and said get in here! The baby is coming!! So my other family members went to the waiting room. About 45 minutes later, little Aaron was born! We all got to see him before we left. Aww just writing about him makes me want to see and hold him again. My first born grandson is staying with our family for another night while my daughter and son-in-law are still at the hospital with baby. I think they might be able to come home tomorrow afternoon.
I know it's late in saying but I hope all of you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
I'm signing off...from Peek-A-Boo Street!
P.S. Congratulations Jessica and Kyle on the birth of your new little boy. Enjoy him. Love, Mom ♥
