Yep...More Snow

Yep it's the night before Christmas Eve. The cookies are baked. The spinach dip is made. My stuffed pasta shells are ready to be warmed. House is cleaned. Just waiting for the arrival of some very special guests. Oh did I mention that we're in for another four to seven inches of snow tonight? Man. I'm going to have to take some pictures for you all when Christmas is over, and when I feel like trenching out into the snow and cold and blustery winter weather to get some pics for you.
So what did I do? No, I didn't take any pictures yet, but I will. I watched a couple more movies.
Well last night I watched the Shaggy D.A. It had Tim Conway in it and it just made me feel like a kid again. I love to watch movies that remind me of being a kid again. Even to this day, when I seen that sheep dog Elwood talking, I just kept laughing. I recorded that from the Turner Classic Movie Channel.
Then tonight my husband and I watched that movie, Step Brothers. It had Will Ferrell in it. His movies have been really stupid lately but this one was really funny. A lot of swearing, but it was funny.
Tomorrow night my husband and I will be hosting Christmas Eve for our family this year. We're so looking forward to it. I can't wait to just spend some time with the family, have a little food, hear some Christmas music in the background, hearing my two year old grandson call me grandma, and watching my youngest son playing, giving my husband a big Christmas hug, etc., etc., etc., I think you all know what I'm talking about. I am so blessed. After all the prep, I just want to be in the moment, to enjoy the moment and to remember the moment of Christmas 2008. Us housewives can silently breath...aaahhhhh.
Merry Christmas to every individual person who reads my blog, whether they leave a comment or not...Peace.
I'm signing off...from Peek-A-Boo Street...and Merry Christmas to you.

  1. Yes, after all the planning, work and prep that goes into Christmas, these are the moments that make it all worthwhile.

This is also the reason that I look forward to Christmas, all the negative things are put aside and the things that really matter are celebrated.

May you and those who you hold dear to your heart, have a peaceful, joyful and very Merry Christmas!
