I Made This Just For You!

Here, I made this really warm cup of Mulled Cider just for you because you stopped in to visit. I hope your having a wonderful and blessed day. Grab a cup. Don't be shy.


I'll tell you what, I won't be lazy today and I'll even type out this wonderful and easy recipe for Mulled Cider.

Ingredients

2 quarts apple cider (1/2 gallon)
2 cinnamon sticks
2 whole cloves
1 orange, thinly sliced
2 whole allspice berries

Directions

First bring apple cider to simmer. Then add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. Divide among individual mugs and serve hot with a cinnamon stick or garnish with orange curls.

    Cool idea for a welcome to the blog. I have done this with wine, but never cider. And we did it the traditional way by heating a poker (washed of course) over the fire and dipping it into the glass to heat the wine.

  4. Hi there. I came across your blog just by chance. And decided to look around. First off I can not wiat to try out the recipe for the 'Mulled Cider." It looks so delicious! Plus I do love me all kinds of Tea.

    Congragulations on becoming a "Grandma" again! Oh the joyhood that awaits you when the newest bundle (or should I say bundles?) arrives. And I definitely love the pictures of the Tea Cups! I believe the 5th picture down is of the "Tea Eose" pattern. Or at least it looks like the one my Granny left to me.
