Franklin Cider Mill

After church, my family and I went to the Franklin Cider Mill here in Michigan. It was such a relaxing time. Today was a beautiful day with just a little chill in the air. We strolled the grounds of the old Mill just taking in all that there was to see. As we walked along we could smell all of those fresh apples to apple pies to apple cider along with their fresh doughnuts. Mmm. The cider was the best I ever had and the doughnuts were delicious. I noticed on the jug of apple cider when we got home it read that you can freeze their cider. I'm going to go back an get another jug and freeze it and then bring it out during the holidays. We seen the water wheel. We watched how they pressed their apples. People were riding in a carriage being pulled by two beautiful horses. They had a bridge over the crook with ducks swimming also.
