This little Sunday bear is so good. He's been saying his prayers...
This little bear has been catching up on all of his mending....
I have four of these dish towels done and have three more to go. I have been enjoying the last few weeks of summer vacation left. It has been such a relaxing summer and a MUCH needed break. Pretty soon school will be starting up for the kids and we'll be in that hustle and bustle mode with busy schedules. I hope you all have a nice weekend.
Carinissimi i tuoi lavoretti!Baci,Rosetta
ReplyDeleteLove the dish towels! You are a busy bee!! Hugs, Anna
ReplyDeleteOh, what darling little dish towels. I love to embroider too and have done so many of these. I agree, needlework is a relaxing activity.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I really like what you're doing with the embroidery. So sweet! Keep enjoying the summer days! I like your new header!
ReplyDeleteThank you Podso! ;-)
DeleteThose little bears are just too sweet! I love the look of vintage style embroidery, it seems to be a lost art! You've done a beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! Too pretty to use in fact!
ReplyDeleteMorning Anne!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that I have not been around for the last week or so. but I have my Mum staying with me at the moment and feel guilty if I don't give her my time and so haven't been on the computer much.
Hope all is well with you.
I will have so much catching up to do
when Mum goes home that it will take me until Christmas
to get through all the posts I have missed!
Have a lovely weekend.

Your embroidered towels are lovely. Such cute teddy bear patterns. Hope you are having a great weekend. Tammy
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute Bear. Your dish towel reminds me of a very old dish towel. You do a nice job stitching them.
ReplyDeleteYour embroidery is beautiful! I love VINTAGE towels like these and you make your new ones look so Vintage!! How long have you been embroidering? Do you sell your work? I'm glad you stopped by my blog so I can now know yours! I am following too! From one sweetie to another~~~Roxie
ReplyDeleteThanks Roxie for becoming a follower too! You have a really nice blog and I'm looking forward to many more visits to your blog. No I don't sell my projects and I'm just a beginner at embroidery but these cute iron on transfers make it perfect for a beginner. The towels are made to look vintage but are new. I love how these towels are turning out because of the vintage look. These look like something a woman might have gotten from her grandmother. =)
DeleteYour embroidery is just beautiful. I will probably start embroidering pillow cases again now that I am alone. Have a blessed evening. Madeline
ReplyDeleteMadeline I'm keeping you in my prayers. Sending you a hug and a smile.
ReplyDeleteHi, Anne, so nice to meet another Michigan Gal!
ReplyDeleteLove your Vintage Embroidery...with I had the patience! "D I always received embroidered pillowcases when I was a child from my lovely Aunt, even then, I really appreciated the time it took to make them...Keep up the lovely vintage work:D

Christine
