After School Snack

Hello! We're getting back into the groove of those school days. My son started middle school and my youngest grandson will be with me during the day. We're finally getting settled in to our routine around here on Peek-A-Boo Street.
So what is a granny to do while the other kids are at school? I've made them some after school treats. I had a box of brownie mix in the cupboard so I thought I'd whip some up for the gang!

Needless to say, the kids were happy when they got home from school. There's nothing like warm brownies and a cold glass of milk to go along with some homework. =) Good luck to the kids starting a new school year!
I'm signing off...........from Peek-A-Boo Street!

  3. Hello Ann. There's nothing like good, home made food. Ann's just turned out a fruit cake with ginger and ginger wine in it. She got the recipe from my sister-in-law. Gorgeous!!! The cake I mean, not the sister in law, although she's not bad.

It's hard to believe another school year has begun. You look awfully young to be a granny.
I wanted to thank you for the sweet comment you made on my blog. I'm afraid my mind has not been on blogging of late. Sleep doesn't seem possible tonight so here I am bothering you! :)

  9. You've made so many of my favorite treats. I love the Jello in the pretty dishes, too. Your banner is the prettiest Fall banner I've seen! I just showed it to my hubby. It reminds us of the Blue Ridge Parkway! WOW!
