Captain Phil Harris

Omg! Have any of my readers been watching Deadliest Catch on the Discovery Channel?
Captain Phil Harris died!
Oh my gosh, that was so sad. I started watching the show a couple of years ago. I just can't believe that Captain Phil Harris died. He was one of my favorite captains. He will defiantly be missed.
At first I was wondering how the show could go on without him. But now that the initial shock is fading, I think it can. His legacy through his two sons will live on. I hope his two sons Josh and Jake take over the Cornelia Marie. That was their father's boat. I hope the crew comes along to.
Who would of ever thought that that would happen during a running season of the show. And for the Discovery channel to be going along with what was happening was really something to. I mean they taped it in a dignified way for the family. Also I'm sure that the family had the last say if they were going to allow Discovery channel to broadcast it on t.v. But like I said, it was a nice tribute to Captain Phil Harris.
He was only 53. He had two strokes. The doctors said it was from all of the smoking the captain did.
Gees. Who would of thought that he was going to die. It was such a shocker. He died last February. I'm just finding this out now as the show was being broad casted from last winters crab season.
There are tons of websites out there to look up Phil Harris. But I went to the Discovery channels website and they have a lot of info on there. Here's the link if any one's interested. http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/deadliest-catch/ There are literally thousands of people writing in the forums and leaving well wishes to Phil's sons. So many people are mourning his lose. I couldn't believe it. The ratings are skyrocketing like crazy. I just can't wait to see what happens next season now.
It's just so eerie how Captain Phil's stroke happened right at the end of the season and then he passed away with his second stroke before the show aired there season finale.
R.I.P. Captain Phil.
Have any of you been watching this show? I would really love to hear your comments.
