How Much Is That Doggy In The Window ♪

The last few times that I was up at the Antique Mall, I've seen this most adorable oil painting with the cutest puppy on it. And every time that I walked by, it was like the little puppy was crying for me to take him home. So............how could I resist? He was coming home with me! He cost me $38. I knew that he would be hung on the wall of my home office. The picture is an original painting. There is no other painting like it. On the back it says so and also has a authenticity label that says that the oil painting cannot be reproduced. So I think it's one of a kind. I do not think that it's valuable or anything. Because if so, it wouldn't be running through my fingers.

But I just love it. It was painted in 1984 so it's not to old. the frame is nicked and scratched but that doesn't bother me in the slightest. I fell in love with it because it kind of reminded me of my dog how she's all fluffy like that. But the painting also has a childlike feel to it, to me anyway. All children love puppies. And this puppy looks like it's in need for a friend. Look how he's looking at the butterfly. It's like he's saying, "Oh maybe he'll want to be my friend." I just completely fell in love with it and it just melted my heart. It just made my ♥ feel all warm and fuzzy inside, lol.

Here is a picture of it. You can click on it to enlarge.

I did a little rearranging in my home office.

I've been wanting to post this for awhile but my poor hubby got sick again. I had to wait for him to hang it on the wall. His poor immune system is down. I told him he needs some vitamins. He's working out again so hopefully that will improve his immune system. I was joking and told him that I'm going to have to get him some vitamins or something. I told him to go stand in the sun or something, poor fella.
I hope everyone is having a nice week.

  4. Hi Mom, Thanks for the comment on my blog about Aaron's room. Yes, it is a light blue. Yeah the crib goes up pretty high so that I can easily change him in there. He won't be sleeping in there right away though, he has a bassinett and will be in my room.
