My mother-in-law was hosting the family's Easter dinner this year and boy, did she ever do a fabulous job. She went all out. Not only did she host the dinner but she threw me a little surprise birthday party to boot!
My 40th birthday fell on Easter this year.
I was just sort of breezing through Easter this year because I'm in the middle of planning for my sons First Holy Communion and reception for next month. I'm looking at every detail of the whole thing. Every piece of thread on his clothes, decorations for the house, the menu....and the list goes on.
So, I was very much appreciative when my Mom decided to do Easter this year. And to my surprise! She threw in a surprise party for me! She asked if I knew anything about it and I truly did not. I was very surprised! I'm speaking about my father-in-law to.....but he doesn't blog, lol! Men......they don't know what there missing! But anyway, thank you Mom & Dad for the lovely Easter dinner and the SURPRISE party! We had such a fantastic time. My Mom had so much planned for the party. I couldn't begin to tell you everything in just a post. But it truly was a lovely time.
Also.....in the mix of all of these festivities.......my second grandson will be here also in May. He is due the week after my son makes his First Holy Communion! Wow, what an exciting spring this has been for myself and my family. We are so blessed!
The following month, June, the kids will be getting out of school! Yippee! I'm just going to crash. I'm going to be so tired with all of these exciting events taking place. Then we'll be going to a baptism.........One day at a time.
I found a couple more onsies for my grandson for when he is born. I thought they were cute so I just had to show my bloggy friends. =)
The kid's are on their spring break this week. So that means I've been on my break to! Lol. My grandson is staying with us for a few days. I hope you all are having a nice week. The beginning of the week was crumby weather. But now we're in the high 60's with total sunshine. Tomorrow we're suppose to hit 70 degrees, yay!
I'm signing off.........from Peek-A-Boo Street!
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Anne, Happy Birthday to you!!! I wish you a wonderful year!
