Our family has just heard some special news. Last Sunday when I walked through the door after church, the phone was ringing. It was my daughter on the phone. She said, "Mom, I have something to tell you." She told me she was going to have a baby. I just feel so blessed that the Lord would send another baby into our family for all of us to love.
Having my first grandchild (grandson) was such a wonderful experience and to ponder that there is another little bundle of joy on the way to our family is such a delight. I'm just so touched by the news I've been walking around in a dream like state over these past three days. I'm just so thrilled and so excited for all of us but especially for my daughter and her husband and for my grandson. They make a wonderful family and now it's growing even still.
What I see before me playing in my head is that life isn't all about me. It's about the next generation to come and how I can partake in to helping the next generation along. It's so amazing when you think of it that way. Thank you Jesus!
