The thrift stores and antique stores certainly have jacked up prices around here. I hate it when I go into Goodwill and find something that is worth only about a dollar, marked for ten dollars. <br /><br />We tried a coconut a very long time ago. Had pretty much the same experience as you did. Our coconut wasn't scored, so it took about 100 whacks before that baby finally opened. There was so much excitement and build-up. When it finally opened, my daughter said, "All that work for this?"
