Happy St. Valentine's Day! ♥

Happy St. Valentine's Day sweetie's!
I hope you all are having a wonderful day with all of your sweetie's today.
I just have to share a short story with you all.
I picked up a little something for the each of my family members when I was out yesterday.
So I passed out their little Valentine's this morning before church. Well my hubby didn't have anything for me this morning because he was sick.
He went to the store this morning but didn't come back with any candy or flowers. I wasn't mad, I just thought, what the heck.
So when I got back from church this morning, I asked him where my candy and flowers were. He said, "Oh you didn't really want anything did you?" I told him that it would have been nice if he picked me up something. Then he came up to me and gave me a hug and told me to go look into the office........

I was very surprised. Thinking back, I know that he was planning on getting me these flowers no matter what...weren't you hunny?!.....

Headache Update...

Just wanted to give all of my readers an update on my headaches.
Well, the medicine did help but on the downside, it was giving me some bad side effects. So with my doc's permission, I was able to stop taking the prescription. He said if the tension headaches returned, that he could put me back on the medicine for a couple of months on a lower dosage.
Well, the headaches started to return. But I'm not the type who likes to take medicine. Like I said in my last post, I will usually suffer through a headache instead of taking Tylenol. But that was before I starting having these headaches on a daily basis. It seems like, Tylenol and Motrin are my new found friends.
Anyway, I did not want to get back on the meds.
So, I decided to go get my eyes checked at the eye doctor. Yes, I did need glasses.
But the eye doctor couldn't promise me that wearing eye glasses would take away the headaches. He told me to wear them for a couple of weeks to see if it would help the headaches. But either way, he said that I should wear them when reading, driving, and watching t.v. I asked if it would hurt my eyes to wear them all of the time and he said no.
The doctor said that it was normal for my age (40) to start having eye problems. He said that it is nothing that I am doing wrong and nothing I can do to stop my vision from getting worse. I asked him if wearing glasses would help to preserve my eye sight and he said no. He said you will be back in a couple of years for bifocals. He said that it's just a part of aging and unfortunately, it's just the beginning.
So maybe this has been the problem all along. I picked up my glasses Friday evening.

So I have been wearing them all weekend. Man does it feel weird. It's going to take some time to get use to them. The glasses have improved my vision. The tension headaches seem to be better these last couple of days. So time will tell I guess. I don't like the fact that I have to wear glasses, but what can I do. I'm getting older!
I'm looking forward to returning to do the things I enjoy doing again. Like reading, blogging, crocheting, needlepoint, etc.
Well I hope all is well with all of my dear readers. And I hope that February is shaping up real well for all of you.
